Meet Dr. David Hoffman
Orthodontist for Phoenix & Scottsdale Arizona
A beautiful smile can make a huge impact on a person’s quality of life, and I am so lucky to be able to help make them every day. I truly care about my patients and it is very important to me that each patient feels comfortable and enjoys their orthodontic experience.
Education and Experience
> Bachelors of Science – University of California at San Diego
> Doctorate of Dental Medicine – Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health
> Certificate in Dental Public Health – A.T. Still University
> Doctorate in Health Sciences – A.T. Still University
> Certificate in Orthodontics – Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health
It is very important for me to constantly be improving my skills and so I regularly attend continuing education courses including the American Association of Orthodontics Annual Meeting, Damon Forum, Arizona Orthodontic Study Club, Invisalign, and Incognito Lingual Orthodontics.
What originally attracted me to dentistry and orthodontics is the ability to make a positive impact on those in my community. I have volunteered at Saint Vincent de Paul dental clinic, Central Arizona Shelter Services dental clinic, Give Kids a Smile, UCSD Free Dental Clinic, and Habitat for Humanity. In addition to my community service, I am a member of the following professional organizations: American Academy of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, the Arizona Orthodontic Study Club.
I was born in California but moved to Phoenix 10 years ago. My wife, Valerie is a child psychologist in Scottsdale and we have two daughters, Ella and Eden. Outside of the practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, gardening, woodworking, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
